New Promotion Spotlight: William Lipsmeyer

09/01/2022

Please join us in congratulating William Lipsmeyer on his promotion to the Patrol Division of Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Lipsmeyer grew up in Faulkner County, and he graduated from Conway High School in 2005. After graduation, he immediately went to work in the oilfield. When his youngest son was born in 2015, he decided it was time for a career change, and he began working as an industrial electrician. While working as an electrician, he made the decision to pursue a career in law enforcement because he always knew he wanted to serve his community in the best way he could. He graduated with the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy (ALETA) Class of 2019A, and he began working for the Faulkner County Detention Center in 2021. He advanced to the rank of Sergeant within the Detention Center, and he has proudly served as the leader of the Detention Emergency Response Team.

When he is not working, Deputy Lipsmeyer enjoys spending time with his two sons, Hunter and Tucker. He also enjoys playing guitar, hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and training.

Welcome to the Patrol Division, Deputy Lipsmeyer. We are proud to have you as a member of our team!
