Please join us in welcoming Deputy Josh Gardner to Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office!

Deputy Gardner comes to us with over 17 years of experience in law enforcement. He has previously served as an Interim Chief, a Sergeant, a Tactical Response Team Leader, a Narcotics Investigator, and a Patrol Deputy. He currently also serves as a Medicolegal Death Investigator. He holds certifications as a handgun instructor, rifle instructor, Arkansas Concealed Carry Instructor, and numerous others.

In 2019, Deputy Gardner was awarded the Medal of Valor for rescuing a resident from a residence that had been demolished by a fallen tree during a severe thunderstorm the previous year.

In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, cooking, working out, working on one of his project cars, and just spending time with his family.
