STRIIK Log Cabin Democrat Feature

07/28/2022

Faulkner County Sheriff's Office would like to, once again, express our appreciation to Jeanette Stewart and the Log Cabin Democrat. If you missed it yesterday, the Log Cabin Democrat published a wonderful comprehensive article on the new STRIIK Team. The Log Cabin Democrat continues to show an impressive initiative in their willingness to work with us to ensure citizens are aware of the many positive things our department does to increase professionalism and training of our deputies as well as to ensure the safety of the citizens of Faulkner County. This willingness to ensure all community members, regardless of their presence on social media, have an opportunity to be informed of the many positive initiatives that law enforcement departments organize and participate in within the community is much appreciated.

The new STRIIK Team is a collaboration with Pafford Emergency Medical Services that allows a high-level medically trained tactical unit to be attached to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team. The STRIIK Team members completed a rigorous training program with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office to become certified auxiliary law enforcement officers in the State of Arkansas.

We thank the Log Cabin Democrat for helping to ensure all of our citizens are informed about this exciting new initiative. Congratulations, again, to our new STRIIK Team Members: Doug Welter, Dakota Weger, Rick Stapleton, Micah Piker, Austin McGee, Jon House, Logan Hinkle, Randel Green, & Todd Aitken.
