Please join us in welcoming Deputy Austin Reeder to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division!

Deputy Reeder is a life-long resident of Faulkner County, and he grew up in Mt. Vernon. He started his career in 2020 with the White County Sheriff's Office Detention Center. In 2021, he joined the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Detention Center. He is the son of Amity and Wade Weatherley and Greg Reeder. Austin has six brothers and seven nieces and nephews. When he is not working, Austin enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He is excited to start this next step in his law enforcement career, and he is eager to continue serving the community in Faulkner County.

Deputy Reeder will graduate from Faulkner County Sheriff's Office New Hire Training & Orientation on July 15, 2022. He will then begin Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy on July 17, 2022.
