On Friday, April 22, 2022 Faulkner County Sheriff's Office notified the public of a homicide that occurred that morning. At approximately 5:00am, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the area of Grassy Lake Road and Interstate Drive for a male lying in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim, later identified as Rahzel Tennant, was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. On April 23, 2022, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Queens Manor Apartments in an attempt to take a suspect in this investigation, identified as Damien Queen, into custody. Mr. Queen barricaded himself into an apartment, but, with the assistance of Conway Police Department, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies were able to safely take the suspect into custody. Through the course of this investigation, additional suspects have been taken into custody.

Damien Queen, 27, is currently housed in the Faulkner County Detention Center on a charge of Capital Murder (Class Y Felony).

Bobby Lee McElroy, 18, is currently housed in the Faulkner County Detention Center on a charge of Capital Murder (Class Y Felony).

Jerry Pannell, 45, was booked into the Faulkner County Detention Center and charged with Hindering Apprehension (Class B Felony) in connection with this case.

Phillip Blakely, 32, was booked into the Faulkner County Detention Center and charged with Hindering Apprehension (Class B Felony) in connection with this case.

Velvin Skinner, 52, has been charged with Hindering Apprehension (Class B Felony) in connection with this case. He is currently in custody in another state.
