Kosol Leach Promoted to Bailiff Corporal

06/22/2022

Please join us in congratulating Kosol Leach on his promotion to Bailiff Corporal!

Corporal Leach was born in Thailand and came to the United States when he was 12 years old. He had no knowledge of the English language at the time, and he went to Mexico for about a year where he was homeschooled and learned basic English. Afterwards, Kosol’s parents sent him to boarding school in San Antonio, Texas, for two years so that he could learn English quicker. From there, he went to Saudi Arabia for a year. Kosol landed in Arkansas in 2001, and he graduated from Sacred Heart in Morrilton in 2003. In 2013, Kosol attended ASU Beebe to obtain his Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. During that time, Kosol worked security on 12-hour night shifts in Maumelle and attended class in the mornings. He graduated with 3.4 GPA in 2015. During the last semester of college, he was hired at the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center where he worked in Housing and Booking. He tried out for and was appointed to the Jail SRT team after being there for only six months. This special team trained side by side with the street SRT team. Kosol worked at PSCO from August 2015 to February 2017. He joined the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office in April 2017. He worked in Booking for about 11 months before he transferred to the Justice Building as a Court Security Officer. He was in that position for about two years before he was promoted, and he worked as a Bailiff for four years. Kosol was recently promoted to Bailiff Corporal.

Congratulations, Corporal Leach! We are proud to have you as a member of our team!
