New Intern Spotlight: Kaia Pierce


Faulkner County Sheriff's Office is proud to continue partnering with the University of Central Arkansas Department of Sociology, Criminology, & Anthropology on an internship program, and we are very excited to welcome Intern Kaia Pierce to our team!

Kaia Pierce is a native Arkansan - born and raised in Little Rock, AR. She attended high school at Mount Saint Mary's Academy. Kaia is currently a senior at the University of Central Arkansas studying Criminology and Sociology, and she plans to graduate in December 2022. After receiving her Bachelor's degree, she is considering pursuing a Master's degree in Sociology or attending law school at the University of Arkansas- Little Rock.


Before joining us for her internship, Kaia completed the Police & Society class at UCA, where she participated in ride-alongs, training exercises, and interviews with the Sheriff's Office. She also assisted the class in hosting the annual Share-A-Bear Holiday Police-Community Relations Event. Kaia is very excited for her internship at Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, and she looks forward to learning more about all of the divisions within the department.
