While you should always take preventative measures such as locking up all of your valuables, never leaving valuables in your vehicle, and locking your vehicle, we encourage you to take additional steps to protect yourself in the event that a theft does occur. We strongly advise residents to take photographs of their belongings. You should also write down serial numbers for your more expensive belongings. Please ensure you do this for all valuable property including that inside the home, outside the home, and in storage units. Unfortunately, lawn equipment is a popular stolen item right now.
