National Peace Officers Memorial Day

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which the day falls as National Police Week. Our prayers are with the families of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives or become disabled in the line of duty. We also spend time to show our appreciation to the brave men and women who risk their lives in service of their community each day.

We invite the community to join us for the annual Fallen Officer Memorial on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Simon Park in Conway, where we will honor those officers from all Faulkner County agencies who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
