On Friday, April 22, 2022, Faulkner County Sheriff's Office notified the community about a homicide investigation in progress. At approximately 5:00am on April 22, 2022, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the area of Grassy Lake Road and Interstate Drive for a male lying in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim, identified as Rahzel Tennant, was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. On April 23, 2022, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Queens Manor Apartments in an attempt to take a suspect in this investigation, identified as Damien Queen, into custody. Mr. Queen barricaded himself into an apartment, but, with the assistance of Conway Police Department, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies were able to safely take the suspect into custody.
