Dollar General Store Aggravated Robbery Arrest

On March 5, 2022, the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office solicited public assistance for an Armed Robbery which occurred near Mayflower at 1:25pm at the Dollar General on Highway 365. During the course of the investigation, leads were developed that possibly identified the Dollar General robbery suspect as Mr. Jamisen Smith. On March 17, Mayflower Police Department Sergeant Lassiter initiated a traffic stop on Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith engaged Mayflower Police Department and Arkansas State Police in a pursuit ending in the Conway City Limits, but he was successfully taken into custody. Afterwards, Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division was able to speak with Mr. Smith. During the interview, Mr. Smith gave details about his involvement in the Dollar General Store robbery.

Mr. Smith is currently housed in the Faulkner County Detention Center without bond on the following numerous pending charges investigated from both agencies.
