FCSO Welcomes New Chaplain David McFerron


Please join us in welcoming a new Chaplain to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office! David McFerron is a homegrown Arkansan, born and raised in Siloam Springs, AR. David has spent the last 17 years in Central Arkansas. He earned his Biblical Studies degree from Central Baptist in Conway, where he met his best friend and wife, Megan. David and Megan were married in 2008 and began working at Mount Vernon Baptist Church. David worked as a Student Pastor working with teenagers for 10 years., and, in 2017, he began pastoring at Mount Vernon Baptist. During his time at MVBC, David and Megan have had 4 kids- Genevieve (8), Maverick (6), Tate (4), & Miller (2). David also earned his Master's Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. When David isn't wrestling his 4 kids or working at the church, you can find him in his woodshop or chasing ducks. David loves to hunt, fish, run, and call the Hogs. David is most passionate about leading people to Jesus and helping them walk with Him. Welcome to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, David!
