Suspect in Custody for Aggravated Robbery of Hwy 65 Tobacco Super Shop

On December 13, 2021, Faulkner County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call for service off of Hwy 365 outside of Conway. While investigating, the scene progressed into a barricaded individual situation. Joint forces of the Faulkner County Special Response Team, Conway SWAT, and the Faulkner County Crisis Negotiation Team responded to the residence. Faulkner County negotiators were able to talk the individual, identified as Joseph William Warren (36), out of the residence where he was taken into custody without incident.

As investigators worked the scene, a search warrant was obtained and evidence was discovered relating to the November 22, 2021 Aggravated Robbery of the Hwy 65 Tobacco Super Shop in Greenbrier. 

Joseph Warren is currently being held in the Faulkner County Detention Center on the following criminal charges pertaining to the December 13, 2021 incident:

Felony C False Imprisonment
Felony D Aggravated Assault
Felony D Terroristic Threatening


Mr. Warren is also currently facing the following criminal charges pertaining to the November 22, 2021 incident:

2 counts of Felony Y Aggravated Robbery
Felony D Aggravated Assault
Felony C Battery 2nd degree
2 counts of Felony D Terroristic Threatening
Felony B Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons
2 counts of Felony D Criminal Mischief
Felony B Theft of Property
Felony D Possession of a Defaced Firearm
