Joe Nowell, who was booked into the Faulkner County Detention Center on September 21, 2018 as a suspect in the homicide of a victim located in Candron Creek on Hwy 287 in Holland, was found guilty of Capital Murder on Thursday, December 9, 2021, after a 3 day trial. Mr. Nowell was sentenced to Life Without the Possibility of Parole.

This case represents the conclusion of countless hours of work on behalf of many deputies and investigators at Faulkner County Sheriff's Office. We are pleased to have been able to assist in providing justice for the victim in this case.
