The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office wants to make you aware of a scam circulating again. People, falsely claiming to be representatives of the Sheriff's Office, are calling residents to say they missed jury duty and need to purchase gift cards to pay off their fines. These scammers are having you stay on the phone with them, providing directions to the Sheriff's Office, and asking for the card numbers for payment. When provided with card numbers, they tell you the card did not go through so you need to purchase more gift cards and supply those numbers. This is a scam! Do not be fooled! The Sheriff's Office will NEVER call you and ask you to buy gift cards. Stay safe!
