On February 9th, deputies received a call in reference to a vehicle theft report. The complainant advised they were out of town at the time, but someone was watching their property when they received a call that their Toyota 4 Runner was stolen. The complainant provided the information for the vehicle to be listed as stolen.

On the morning of February 19th, deputies responded to a call in reference to a commercial burglary. When deputies arrived on scene, the complainant stated that during the night someone broke into their shop and several items were stolen. Complainant was able to provide deputies with a list of stolen items, and also advised there was video footage of the person breaking into the shop and a Toyota 4 runner was driven onto the property.

Reports were taken for both incidents and all information was turned over to the Faulkner County Major Crimes Unit.

On March 4th, the investigations led to the arrest of Randy Gwatney (40) of Greenbrier. Gwatney was arrested in connection to both of the cases. He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond in the Faulkner County Detention Center on multiple charges including residential burglary and theft of property.
