Joe Allen Pierce, 27, of Guy was arrested on January 30, 2020 for Failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements as a sex offender, a Class C Felony.

Mr. Pierce came to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Major Crime Unit to register as a sex offender. At that time Sex Offender Coordinator, Vanda Phillips, learned Mr. Pierce was delinquent in verifying his residency with Cleburne County Sheriff's Office where he was currently registered. Through further investigation, it was also learned that Mr. Pierce has been living at an address in Guy, AR for over six months and has not registered with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office and also did not make Cleburne County Sheriff's Office aware of his move. At that time, Mr. Pierce was taken into custody and transported to Unit 2 of the Faulkner County Detention Center where he is currently being held awaiting first appearance.
