Sex Offenders Arrested in Separate Incidents

Peter Michael Gaudioso, 70, of Mayflower was arrested January 8, 2020 for Failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements (Class C Felony) and Registered Offender-Incorrect permanent physical address on identification cards or driver's license prohibited (Class D Felony).

On January 7, 2020, Sex Offender Coordinator, Vanda Phillips, learned that Mr. Gaudioso was living at the Grassy Lake Apartments and had not registered living at that address.

An investigation was opened and it was confirmed that Mr. Gaudioso was living in an apartment at 11 Grassy Lake Rd. Mayflower, AR 72106. Mr. Gaudioso was still registered in the city of Little Rock. Arkansas state law requires when changing residence/mailing address or temporary domicile, this must be done no later than five (5) days before the offender establishes residence or temporary domicile unless otherwise indicated such as eviction or natural disaster. When changing addresses within the state of Arkansas the offender must also report to the local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction at the new address within five (5) days after relocation to the new address. Mr. Gaudioso did not register the new address with either law enforcement agency before his move or within five (5) days after his move.

Also during the investigation it was learned that Mr. Gaudioso had also not updated his Arkansas State ID to display his new registered address. Pursuant to 5-14-130(1), it is a Class D Felony for a registered offender to obtain identification cards or a driver's license with the incorrect permanent physical address.

Mr. Gaudioso is currently out on bond and is scheduled to appear back in court on January 27, 2020 at 9:00am.

Michael Truman, 29, of Mayflower, with the help of Conway Police Department, was arrested on January 4, 2020 for Failure to comply with registration and reporting requirements.

Mr. Truman left his registered address on November 28, 2019 and did not inform Sex Offender Coordinator, Vanda Phillips of his move. It was learned Mr. Truman left on foot and was living as homeless around the city of Conway.

Arkansas state law requires the offender to report any changes in residence, mailing address, temporary domicile, employment, volunteer, email, social network information, all information pertaining to any vehicle the offender owns or has access to IN Person to the local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction at the time of the change. When changing residence/mailing address or temporary domicile, this must be done no later than five (5) days before the offender establishes residence or temporary domicile unless otherwise indicated such as eviction or natural disaster. When changing addresses within the state of Arkansas the offender must also report to the local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction at the new address within five (5) days after relocation to the new address.

Mr. Truman was also an active Parolee and was also issued a warrant for Absconding. He is currently in Unit 1 of the Faulkner County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 27, 2020 at 9:00am.
