03/06/2019

Combating the manufacture and distribution of narcotics is a top priority for Sheriff Tim Ryals.  The Sheriff’s Office relies on its own resources and the Narcotics Section to deal with the ever present problem of narcotics and other illicit drugs within Faulkner County. A Faulkner County  Investigator, and two full time 20th Judicial District Investigators make up the Narcotics section, but all the Investigators are trained in Narcotics.

In 2018 the Faulkner County Narcotics Section seized over 590 pounds of marijuana, approximately 4 pounds of Methamphetamine, over 2,600 various types of pills, and 10 grams of cocaine. The street value of the narcotics seized is worth an estimated value of $2,471,820.  It is important to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, and especially Sheriff Tim Ryals, that deputies and investigators work as hard as they can to clean up the streets within Faulkner County.

As a result of the seized narcotics, Faulkner County Deputies made 75 felony arrests and 182 felony charges.
