Wednesday Evening Saturation

08/10/2017

On Wednesday evening, 8/10/17, Faulkner County Sheriff Tim Ryals placed a saturation team of Criminal Investigators and Deputies in the area of Hwy 286 in Faulkner County. Sheriff Ryals has committed to saturating high-risk property crime areas to catch criminals and deter crime.  The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Mobile Command Unit was utilized in this operation once again.  Investigators and Deputies use probable cause to conduct traffic stops to make contact with subjects in violation of Arkansas state law.

Several arrests were made as a result of this saturation.

Maldonado Gonzales – 26 – Possession of Controlled Substance

Jackie Leach – 60 – Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Christopher Davis – 28 - Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Larry King – 43 - Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Appear Warrant

Sheriff Ryals will order further saturations based on crime statistics. It is the desire of the Sheriff to aggressively seek offenders who are stealing from the fine citizens of Faulkner County.  Sheriff Ryals and his deputies patrol Faulkner County day and night, seeking to slow down theft and other crimes. Community members are encouraged to keep a watchful eye and report any suspicious activity.  Anonymous tips can be made at www.fcso.ar.gov, and click on the CrimeTips tab.  You are also able to call 501-450-4914.

A special thanks goes to the Faulkner County Sheriff Reserve Deputy Unit for assisting in the saturation.  The Sheriff's Office relies heavily upon the Reserve Unit for assistance on many functions throughout the year.  More information will be provided in the near future regarding how you can join that team!
