Wooster Saturation Arrests

On February 24, 2017, FCSO posted two photographs of an individual alleged to have stolen items on 2/21/17 from a residence on Brannon Road. After over 1,000 shares on Facebook and over 50,000 people reached, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office was able to arrest 33 year old Benjamin Rial. 

 

On Tuesday, 2/28/17, while the mobile command post was set up in Wooster, Sheriff Tim Ryals ordered saturation for the area in response to recent criminal activity in the area, including the case involving Rial. Rial was consequently picked up by FCSO Investigators. Rial is being charged with forgery 2nddegree, residential burglary, breaking or entering, and theft of property.  Investigators are looking into several incidents Rial may be associated as suspect.

 

During the saturation, deputies and investigators also arrested:

 

Regina Harmon, 53, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - $5,000 bond

 

Johny Graham, 36, Possession of Controlled Substance - $5,000 bond

 

Marco Delgado Ramirez, 34, Failure to Appear Warrant - $965 bond

 

John Heathcock, 44, Public Intoxication, Drinking on the Highway - Unknown bond

 

Michael Smart, 39, Felony Warrant, Van Buren County – Transferred to Van Buren County

 

Sheriff Ryals expresses his appreciation for all the tips leading to the arrest of Benjamin Rial. There will be additional saturations throughout the county in the near future.  All cases are considered under investigation.

 

Once the weather system moved in the area on 2/28/17, the mobile command unit was used to monitor weather for quick, effective response.
