Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit is now accepting applications! The application deadline for the Fall 2025 Reserve Deputy Training Class is July 23, 2025. Once the candidates have graduated, they are a Certified Auxiliary/Part-Time Law Enforcement Officer for the State of Arkansas. This is an excellent way to volunteer to help support your community!
Faulkner County is proud to have one of the most active, professional, and impactful Reserve Deputy programs in the state. Composed of highly trained and certified individuals, our Reserve Unit is made up of successful businessmen and community leaders who volunteer their time, skills, finances, and personal resources to support the mission of the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office and serve our community with honor.
Led by Reserve Commander Brian Tyner, and the board members, the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit donates over 10,000 hours of service annually in multiple capacities including patrol, sex offender compliance checks, prisoner transports and extraditions, public event security and crowd control, training and tactical support, and specialized operations.
