It is with great sadness that Faulkner County Sheriff's Office announces the passing of our friend and colleague, Juvenile Detention Officer Eddie Winter, who we laid to rest today at Crestlawn Memorial Park. He started his career at the Faulkner County Detention Center in 2021, and his exemplary work ethic led to his promotion to Corporal. He was then moved into the Juvenile Housing Unit at the Faulkner County Detention Center, and he was truly a joy and inspiration for many of the kids. Eddie possessed a very quick witted humor and a true passion for helping others. He will be sorely missed by all of us that knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Deputy Winter. We have the watch from here.
