Buzzed Driving is Drunk Driving Initiative
03/23/2025
Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office was pleased to partner with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to warn drivers about the dangers of drinking and driving over the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. We were out in full force surrounding the holiday to help keep our roads safe from drunk drivers.
Our efforts surrounding the holiday festivities resulted in 109 Traffic Stops, 110 Warnings, & 10 Citations. With your assistance in sharing previous posts warning drivers of the dangers of drinking and driving, we also hopefully deterred countless drunk drivers during this time. Even though the holiday is over, we join the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in urging drivers to remember that drinking and driving is deadly and never an option. Always drive 100% sober, because Buzzed Driving Is Drunk Driving.
