On March 6, 2025, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office issued a Public Safety Warning for Joseph Blair. At this time, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office has requested the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to investigate an officer-involved shooting involving the K-9 team from the Arkansas Department of Corrections (DOC). As this is now an Arkansas State Police investigation, no additional details will be provided. Any questions regarding this case should be directed to the Arkansas State Police.
