Updated with Arkansas State Police Press Release: Public Safety Warning

UPDATE ON MARCH 7, 2025, AT 2:45PM: The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) has requested the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to investigate an officer-involved shooting involving the K-9 team from the Arkansas Department of Corrections (DOC). As this is now an Arkansas State Police investigation, no additional details will be provided. Any questions regarding this case should be directed to the Arkansas State Police. UPDATE ON MARCH 6, 2025, AT 8:30PM: Mr. Blair has been located and is deceased at this time. This remains an ongoing investigation involving multiple agencies, so no additional information is available at this time. We offer our appreciation to the multitude of agencies who assisted with this investigation. We ask the community to remain respectful of those who loved Mr. Blair, and we offer our condolences to the family.


Original Post: On behalf of the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office and the United States Marshals Service, we advise residents to be on the lookout for Joseph Blair, pictured here. Mr. Blair is considered armed and dangerous. If you believe you have seen this suspect, call 911 immediately. Do not attempt to confront this suspect. Law enforcement is currently in active pursuit of Mr. Blair, last seen near the Damascus area.
