The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for Faulkner County effective until 12:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, February 20, 2025. Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero are expected during this time. These conditions can result in frostbite and hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Additionally, extended periods of freezing temperatures can cause ruptured water pipes. It is advised you take any necessary preparation measures around your home to help prevent pipes freezing and other dangers as a result of significantly colder temperatures. Please check on friends, relatives, neighbors, and pets during this time.
