On Thursday, August, 29, 2024, Chief Deputy Chad Wooley and Staff Sergeant Timothy Johnson joined representatives from Arkansas State Police, Conway Police Department, University of Central Arkansas Police Department, & Mayflower Police Department, in speaking with UCA Police & Society and Police-Community Relations classes. During the presentation, officers discussed basic information about their departments. This begins an annual semester-long partnership with the courses in which students complete ride-alongs, trainings, and physical entrance examinations with the agencies. Students also spend the semester working with the agencies to host a joint holiday police-community relations event in December. We look forward to this incredible partnership and learning experience every year!
