John Aldridge Arrest

On May 24, 2024, at approximately 3:30am, Faulkner County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Lake Bennett Road for a possible kidnapping. A single suspect, John Aldridge, was located. After attempting a traffic stop of the vehicle near Acklin Gap Rd., Mr. Aldridge engaged deputies in a high speed pursuit, running several traffic lights and stop signs in the process. Upon deploying spike strips, deputies were able to deflate the tires of the vehicle, causing Mr. Aldridge to come to a stop on Hwy 285 North of Wooster. Mr. Aldridge then attempted to flee on foot, but he was quickly taken into custody. Mr. Aldridge is currently being housed at the Faulkner County Detention Center pending initial court appearances. Please be advised that charges are frequently modified during court proceedings, and several charges against Mr. Aldridge are pending at this time. He is currently charged with Kidnapping/Abduction (x2), Aggravated Assault (x3), Terroristic Threatening, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, Fleeing, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Speeding, Reckless Driving, Improper Use of Center Turn Lane, Disobeying a Stop Sign, Interfering with Emergency Equipment, Resisting Arrest, & Violation of Probation.
