Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the rumors circulating that heat is not working at the Detention Center. These rumors are not true, but they have caused multiple social media posts in local groups and media attention. Heat is fully functioning at both Faulkner County Detention Center Unit 1 & Unit 2. Please do not contribute to spreading false information. Our community is currently under a Winter Storm Watch and Wind Chill Advisory. False rumors are dangerous as they deflect from accurate weather alerts and safety information circulating at this time.
