Public Safety Advisory: Vehicle Break-ins

09/28/2023

Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents to be on alert for vehicle break-ins in the area and to take precautionary measures to protect their valuables. Unfortunately, Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office has seen an increase in automobile burglaries over the past few months. The individuals involved are primarily taking advantage of unlocked vehicles by stealing weapons and other valuables as well as stealing vehicles with keys left inside.

For your own personal safety as well as the safety of our community, please remember to remove any valuables from inside your vehicle. This includes weapons, purses, wallets, laptops, garage door openers, money, and other items. After all items are removed, residents should lock all doors of their vehicle. Please adhere to these precautionary measures even if you believe you will only be away from the vehicle for a few minutes.

Residents should contact the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office if they observe any suspicious activity. If you have an emergency, please call 911. For non-emergencies, please contact dispatch at 501-328-5906.

We are currently working diligently to provide extra patrol to prevent future incidents. We appreciate the cooperation of the public in assisting with these preventative measures.
