Two more Excessive Heat Warnings issued for the week, Faulkner County! The National Weather Service has issued another Excessive Heat Warning for Faulkner County today, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, effective until 8:00pm. A second Excessive Heat Warning has already been issued for tomorrow, Thursday, August 24, 2023, until 8:00pm.

Heat index values continue to exceed 110 degrees. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency!
