New Deputy Spotlight: Ethan Cresswell

Please join us in welcoming Deputy Ethan Cresswell to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Cresswell grew up in Heber Springs, AR., and he currently resides in the Fairfield Bay area. He began working with his local volunteer fire department when he was 17 years old, and he was able to help start Cleburne County Search &Rescue Deputy. After graduating high school early and completing a college technical welding program, he began work in fabrication shops. He was then hired by his alma mater as the lead technical welding instructor, which enabled him to complete his Associate’s Degree. He stated that he always wanted to pursue a law enforcement career, however. As a result, he pursued a position and was hired at the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office in 2020, where he began working in the Detention Center. After a short time, he completed a Reserve Deputy Training Course and then moved into a position as a Court Security Officer. Following a year with the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, he was given the opportunity to transfer to a Patrol Deputy position and attend the Central Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. Since then, he has attended SWAT training, sniper schools, and he was certified as a SWAT operator and law enforcement sniper. He is now looking forward to continuing his career with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. Outside of work, Deputy Cresswell enjoys spending timehis wife and four children. He also enjoys hunting, range days, and diving.
