Please join us in welcoming Deputy Skyler Cox to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Cox grew up in Texarkana, AR, with his parents, Thomas and Kathryn Cox, one sister, and an identical twin brother. He stated that, growing up, he always looked up to first responders for their jobs and the different roles that they play in people’s lives. He grew a passion for helping people, and he always desired to be a light for people in their darkest days. In 2018, Deputy Cox moved to Conway, Arkansas, to attend the University of Central Arkansas. He stated that he fell in love with Faulkner County and knew this is where he was meant to be. After graduating from UCA, he was hired as a Patrol Officer at the UCA Police Department. He stated that he thoroughly enjoyed his time at UCAPD and learned a lot, but he is excited to begin this next step in his career. As Deputy Cox comes to us already certified, he has begun his Field Training Program.
