On 2/1/16, at approximately 9:45 pm, Faulkner County Sheriff Investigators arrested 23 year old Joseph Dewayne Duren from Poyen, AR, at a Conway location on a charge of 5-27-306 Internet Stalking of a Child, a class B Felony.

Investigators received information that a juvenile was involved in an inappropriate online relationship with Duren. Investigators made arrangements to meet with Duren at a Conway location, where Duren thought he was meeting with a 14 year old female.

The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office encourages parents and guardians to monitor computers and other electronic devices for inappropriate online activities.

Duren was taken into custody and transported to Unit 2 without incident.
