New Dispatcher Spotlight: Chris Humphrey

05/21/2023

Please join us in welcoming Dispatcher Chris Humphrey to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office!

Chris is originally from Southern California, but he moved to Guy, Arkansas, with his mother, father, grandparents, and other family members, as a young child. He has lived in Faulkner County since then, and he has been involved in local law enforcement almost all of his adult life. Chris started his career in dispatch with the Greenbrier Police Department in 2001, and he became a patrol officer in 2004. In 2005, he began working for the University of Central Arkansas Police Department as a part-time dispatcher, and he accepted a full-time patrol officer position in 2006. He then returned to Greenbrier Police Department in 2015, before accepting the position of Chief of Police with the City of Guy in May 2017.

Outside of work, Chris is married to his best friend, Stephanie, and they have two daughters, Heather and Bailey. They also have an extremely spoiled fur child named Jaxson. Chris enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle whenever he gets the chance, and, as a family, they love to explore forest roads and trails in their Jeep.

Chris stated that he enjoys being able to provide assistance to his community, and he is looking forward to this new opportunity with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office. Chris is pictured here with his FCSO Dispatch Trainer, Pearly Alarcon.

Welcome to Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, Chris! We are proud to have you as a member of our team!
