Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas

05/16/2023

Faulkner County Sheriff's Office is excited to participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Arkansas tomorrow, Wednesday, May 17, 2023. We will be joining all other Faulkner County Law Enforcement Agencies in running the torch throughout the city of Conway. Sheriff Tim Ryals will be leading a procession of vehicles representing each of the agencies following the runners. You will have several opportunities to see the Torch Run. The runners and procession will be leaving from Conway Police Department at approximately 9:00am. We will be traveling by the Agape Community Temple on our way into the Conway Human Development Center gates. There will be a celebration at CHDC from approximately 10:00am to 10:45am. The runners and procession will then leave CHDC at approximately 10:45am, travel to Oak St., Front St., then Prairie St. We will arrive at Centennial Bank at approximately 11:30am for the final ceremony. This celebration represents one of the final laps as the torch makes its way into Little Rock for the final ceremony. We are honored to be able to celebrate the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Arkansas in this way!
