Faulkner County Detention Center staff hosted a tour today for students enrolled in the Correctional Systems Course in the Department of Sociology, Criminology, & Anthropology at the University of Central Arkansas. Students were able to tour Faulkner County Detention Center Unit 1, Faulkner County Detention Center Unit 2, the Faulkner County Justice Building, and the Faulkner County Courthouse. They were able to learn about daily operations at the Detention Center, meet staff at each facility, and learn about job opportunities in corrections. We hope the students had a wonderful time, and we appreciate each of them for taking time out to learn about these important divisions of the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.
