Winter Weather Conditions Update: Freezing Fog Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Freezing Fog Advisory for Faulkner County today, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, until 11:00am.

The Faulkner County Road Department continues to work around the clock to clear roadways. You may view progress of many of those roadways in the Roadway Conditions videos on the Faulkner County, Arkansas Facebook page.

We strongly advise residents to avoid travel if at all possible for their safety as well as the safety of our first responders. Residents should be aware that the freezing temperatures will continue to make travel even more dangerous throughout the evening and early morning hours. If travel is unavoidable at this time, please be extremely cautious, go slow, and maintain a safe distance from those around you.

As a friendly reminder, the Faulkner County Courthouse & Administrative Offices are closed today, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions.
