Join us for National Police Week 2026 and answer the call to volunteer to help support your community! The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office is now hiring Reserve Deputies!
Faulkner County is proud to have one of the most active, professional, and impactful Reserve Deputy programs in the state. Composed of highly trained and certified individuals, our Reserve Unit is made up of successful businessmen and community leaders who volunteer their time, skills, finances, and personal resources to support the mission of the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office and serve our community with honor.
Led by Reserve Commander Joe Sexson, the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit donates over 10,000 hours of service annually in multiple capacities including patrol, prisoner transports and extraditions, public event security and crowd control, and specialized operations. Candidates interested in applying to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Reserve Unit should be 21 years of age, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a valid Arkansas driver's license, be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening, and have a positive work ethic and attitude. Reserve Deputies must also be willing to purchase their uniform, firearm, and other required equipment.
