New Patrol Deputy Spotlight: Landon Vanderpool

Please join us in welcoming Deputy Landon Vanderpool to the Patrol Division of Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Vanderpool has had an interest in law enforcement for most of his life. After high school, he attended college in Northwest Arkansas for an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Since he loved learning about the career field, he decided to move to Faulkner County to complete his Bachelor of Science in Criminology at the University of Central Arkansas. Following graduation, he began working for the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office as a Detention Deputy. He stated that he learned a great deal working in the Faulkner County Detention Center, and he is excited for this new opportunity to work for the Patrol Division of Faulkner County Sheriff's Office. He hopes to eventually grow in his career and work with the Criminal Investigation Division, and he looks forward to learning as much as he can within patrol to help him achieve that goal.
