Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Awareness Training

The Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management is hosting an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Awareness training for first responders with the Conway Bomb Squad and Arkansas State Police today, Thursday, April 16, 2026. While the morning is primarily dedicated to classroom instruction, there will be live fire demonstrations throughout the afternoon hours beginning at approximately 1:00pm. As a result, citizens can expect to hear loud explosions in the area. Please do not be alarmed.
