Just a friendly reminder that Faulkner County remains under an Extreme Heat Warning until 8:00pm tonight, Sunday, August 16, 2026. During this time, heat index values up to 114 are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency! Stay safe, Faulkner County!
