Severe Weather Alert: Heat Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Faulkner County today, Sunday, June 28, 2026. This advisory is set to continue through 7:00am on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. During this time, heat index values up to 109 are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency!
