New Deputy Spotlight: Garrett Reeder

Please join us in welcoming Deputy Garrett Reeder to the Patrol Division of Faulkner County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Reeder is from the small town of Mount Vernon, Arkansas, and he graduated from Rose Bud High School. From a young age, he knew he wanted a career in law enforcement and to serve his community. One of the biggest influences in his life has been his brother, who also works for the Sheriff's Office. His brother's dedication, work ethic, and example of service have continually inspired him. Watching his brother's commitment to helping others and making a difference in the community played a major role in motivating him to pursue a career in law enforcement and follow a similar path of service. In March 2025, he began his career with the Faulkner County Detention Center in Unit 1 Maximum Security, where he has grown both personally and professionally. During his time there, he became a member of the Detention Response Team and earned the rank of Corporal. Those experiences strengthened his leadership skills, discipline, and commitment to public service. He is incredibly grateful and excited about the opportunity to transition into patrol and continue serving the citizens of Faulkner County in a greater capacity. He looks forward to the challenges ahead and to continuing to build his career in law enforcement.
