PSA: Safety at the Faulkner County Fair

Out of an abundance of caution, Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with Faulkner County Fair and Parade Board, closed the Faulkner County Fair early tonight, Friday, September 25, 2026. We want to assure the citizens that, despite ongoing rumors, there were no victims shot and there were no actual shots fired at the fair this evening. Faulkner County Sheriff's Office will be increasing deputy presence for the final day of the fair tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, 2026. Please be advised that no unaccompanied minors will be allowed in the fairgrounds. There will be no exceptions to this policy, and all individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Faulkner County Sheriff's Office remains committed to ensuring a safe and wonderful experience for everyone at the Faulkner County Fair.
