Severe Weather Alert: Extreme Heat Warning

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Faulkner County, effective from 11:00am today, Sunday, July 26, 2026, until 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. During this time, heat index values up to 114 are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency! Stay safe, Faulkner County!
