Severe Weather Alert: Extreme Heat Warning

The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Faulkner County, effective until 9:00pm today, Tuesday, July 21, 2026. During this time, heat index values up to 115 are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency! Stay safe, Faulkner County!
