Severe Weather Alert: Extreme Heat Warning

While we remain under a Heat Advisory until noon tomorrow, the National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for Faulkner County, effective at 12:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, July 2, 2026. During this time, heat index values up to 114 are expected. Please drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors. Young children, elderly, disabled individuals, and pets should never be left unattended in the heat. Heat stroke is an emergency!
