Community Engagement: Chief Deputy Wooley & Captain Hunter Class Presentation with Former Sheriff Marty Montgomery
Faulkner County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Chad Wooley and Jail Administrator Captain Doug Hunter had a great experience presenting to the Jails, Bails, & Community Corrections class, hosted by the Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology at the University of Central Arkansas. This course is being taught by Former Faulkner County Sheriff Marty Montgomery, so it allowed the students to explore comparisons of our office and facilities from the early 2000s until today.
Faulkner County Sheriff's Office appreciates our relationship with the University of Central Arkansas Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology. Each year, we partner with students from their corrections and policing courses for tours of the Faulkner County Detention Center, ride-alongs with the patrol division, trainings, community engagement activities, and internships.
We appreciate Former Sheriff Montgomery as well as the Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology for the invitation to present to this great group of students!
